Welcome to Confederate Catahoulas, owned and operated by Troy and Jennifer Kish. Let me share a bit about ourselves with you. We are located in Citrus County, Florida, where we hog hunt as often as possible. We have our nusiance wildlife permit which gives us more opportunity to work our dogs. We bought our first Catahoula back in 2001. We actually found him on a website! We drove 5 hours down to South Florida, and picked the perfect puppy! We fell in love with him and the breed right away. Each of our houlas has taught us very much. We became NALC Certified Breeders back in 2001 and in 2005 we joined the ACA. We strive to produce well balanced Catahoulas that are socialized with children as well as other dogs. We begin training our pups early on in their lives in a baypen. We try to produce well rounded hunting dogs. We only attend one NALC show every year, in Cheifland, FL, but hope to join more in the future. We love our dogs, they are part of our family and they work hard for us! We also strive to be helpful to all Catahoula Lovers and would like you to contact us with any question.
